This busy accounting firm was bursting the seams of its space. The owners realized their recent growth would require additional working space. r.o.i. Design was called in to help. Before design work began, staff interviews and needs assessments were completed to ensure appropriate workspaces and adjacencies were provided and productivity was part of the plan. The assessment revealed that the new office space would impact the whole office layout and so a larger need was identified. r.o.i. then began design work.

Located in an historic building in downtown Grand Rapids, this office design included the use of exposed brick, refinished wood floors and custom lighting. A detail in the lobby that makes use of a silver dollar smartly expresses the focus of the office activity. The end result is a sophisticated, urban space that is comfortable, yet visually exciting.
