Crystal Mountain Wild Tomato

In January 2007 Crystal Mountain Resort, long time friend and client, experienced considerable water damage in their restaurant, The Wildflower. They decided to use this occurrence as an opportunity for re-branding and re-decorating the restaurant to cater to the growing family market at Crystal Mountain. They called on r.o.i. Design to come up with a new identity, a new logo, new finishes and décor, and quickly! Playing off the old name, the moniker “Wild Tomato” was chosen. Not only does this enliven the name, but the “Tomato” spans the tastes and recipes of both Italian and Mexican food, some of the most popular cuisine of the American family. The color palette went wild as well with a bold new color scheme that appeals to younger tastes. Décor included tomato paste labels used as wallpaper, large stripes of red, white and green, reclaimed barn wood and images of Tuscany and Barcelona.

The result is an eatery that both parents and kids can agree on. So come enjoy a taco or a plate of spaghetti at The Wild Tomato!
