Integra Printing

Good friends Pinnacle Construction and Architectural Concepts asked r.o.i. Design to team up on the design of Integra’s new office and printing facility in Grand Rapids. We soon realized that Integra was unique. So, we interviewed the staff and developed a program for the offices based on their distinct work style. Our space planning resulted in an office layout that allows for greater communication and an enhanced team environment.

Additionally, working with Ken Watkins of Architectural Concepts, we developed a concept for the exterior. The challenge was how to make a necessarily industrial building attractive and expressive. Using a variety of metal panels and unique forms, our goal was to make the exterior representative of the dynamic business of printing.
We were proud that this project won an ABC award in 2006 for best design in its category. Thank you, Integra, for the opportunity.
